Roberta holds a bachelor’s of science in Psychology and a master’s degree in Psychology from University of Mary-Hardin Baylor (UMHB), and is now a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor.  She is a full time Psychology professor at Blinn College and has been an adjunct faculty member at several universities including University of Mary-Hardin Baylor (UMHB).  She has specialized training in play therapy and is a renown child therapist. Roberta has also received specialized training in  EMDR and has worked with victims of abuse and trauma her entire professional career.  She is an experienced therapist working in the field for over 15 years in both inpatient and outpatient settings, a former administrator and clinical director of residential treatment centers, where she gained vast experience with adults, families and children.
